Horse Camp scholarship and donations

Meadow Vue Ranch is non for profit and our mission is to allow as many children as possible to be able to experience the cowboy way of life. We understand that not everyone can afford to attend camp. So we have created a scholarship program based upon need. In order to qualify you must fill out the application below, applicant must have never attended camp at Meadow Vue Ranch, Scholarships will be awarded by the board of directors as funds are available. We announced scholarship winners at the end of May every year if your receive a scholarship you will be notified If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund or would like more information about the scholarship fund please call (208) 589-3475 or email cody@meadowvueranch.com  

Since starting the scholarship program we have given out nearly 30 scholarship to deserving individuals For the 2020 summer season we gave out 6 scholarships to horse camp participants from around the country. For the past two year a generous donor has provided for 4 scholarships for girls from the Ashton, Idaho. The applications for that scholarship are ran through the local school and the donor directly.   

We notify Scholarship winners in May each year. If you don't receive a scholarship you will not be notified.

Meadow Vue Ranch receives hundreds of application each year for scholarships for camp unfortunately we can not provide scholarships to all deserving applicants. If you have extra resources please consider donating to scholarship program.   

If you are applying for the scholarship here are some helpful hints. Explain why want to come to horse camp in detail. Explain why you need the scholarship to attend camp. (statement of financial need) Consider attaching a picture make it stand out from the other deserving applicants we have. 

  Meadow Vue Ranch is a non profit organization every dollar we earn goes back into maintaining and improving the ranch and caring the animals. Just feeding the horses for a year costs over $20,000. Donations help us keep costs low and help make large improvements. In order to provide scholarships we must receive donations to provide scholarships.. All donations are appreciated and will be used to help create a great environment for all camp participants and allow new horse camp participants to experience the cowboy way of life. 

You can donate to the ranch in several ways send us a check directly, using the pay pal button below,  you can donate when you register someone for camp or you can contact us directly about making a donation. If you donate over $100 to the ranch or to the scholarship fund we will recognize you on our website based on the donor levels below with either your name or with your company logo. If you donate the full cost of attendance for at least one horse camp participant we will create a scholarship in your name. If you would like to make a large donation and would like an idea of what your donation could be used for and how we would recognize your based on your donation please call (208) 589-3475 or email cody@meadowvueranch.com  

What do we do with the donations we receive? That is up to you! you can specify what we use your donation for most people chose to directly donante to or scholarship fund to help kids attend camp. We have also had donors donate funds for purchasing new horse, we have had horses donated to the camp, Donors helped fund the new shower rooms for the bunk houses, the upgrades to the kitchen, and improvements made to the camp bunk houses. If you have a specific idea on an improvement  or scholarship you would like to help with let us know.
